Are you trying to install Windows 10 onto an SSD that you're connecting to your system using a SATA to USB adapter? If so, that won't work. If not, boot your system from that Rescue Media you created earlier and run "Fix Boot Problems", since the bootloader file on the new SSD might need to be registered into the system's UEFI I may have misinterpreted your original post when I wrote my reply above.
